Hey everybody,Im gonna be finding and getting an armada in about 2 weeks. Probably an 05-07 model,After extensive research i have a few specific questions i cant find answers for,any input is greatly appreciated.
I plan on having 2 car seats in the third row, I wanted to know if there is car seat latches near where the seatbelts are? Or if a carseat can be securely anchored back there?
Also wanted to know what access to the third row is like? do the seats fold and side forward? How much of a pain would it be to get 2 toddlers back there? Though im willing to deal with it,just wanna know what im in for.
How does it handle? Where i live theres mostly windy steep mountain roads, alot of roads are kinda tight also. I just want to make sure it rides nice and isnt all over the place and drives true to its course.
Last for now is there a second dvd monitor for the 3rd row? is that only on higher end models or was i maybe mislead and viewed a picture wrong? could the dvd monitor be easily seen from the third row?
i know its alot and any input is appreciated, even if its bits and pieces ill take it!

Bought them new, been on 06 Armada for 7-8 months. LED accent lights and halo rings were never wired. They have scratches from normal road use. The eyelids were not installed. Freshly painted factory grey. Make me a offer, shipping may be pricey. Ships from Folsom, La 70437.

I bought this grill off ebay months ago. Took it out the box, looked at it, then stowed it away with other parts. Well this weekend I went to change the front end on my 06 Armada to find out it doesnt fit. It is too narrow and mounting bracketry is completely wrong. Whats it for? Its for sale btw.

Hi, I just wanted to take some time to introduce myself. I am a mechanical engineer, living in AZ, I'm a DIYer, I love to tinker with stuff, it gets me in trouble a lot of the times but I like the satisfaction I get after successful completion of a project. This forum has a lot of good information and creative thinkers, which is awesome. I own a 2011 Infiniti QX56, I've been following a couple things on this forum mostly mod ideas. I've recently put a remote start and did the AV bypass on my truck. I've seen a couple cool audio and head light mods here so I figured I'd join to participate in some of the conversations, I'm not too familiar with the Nissan family of vehicles so I don't know how much of the Armada mods will work for the QX. I'm hoping they do as long as they are the same generation.

Hi everyone,
I know this is Amanda forum but my appologies for posting here as i have tried other nissan forum but still no success. Anyway I have nissan micra K12 04 reg. which was bought non starter. I have pluged the diagnostic machine which gives me P1611 error code, being immobiliser malfunction. took to the dealers n they could could not solved it. I got another Ecu kit which includes Ipdm ,Ecu key with antena and speedo meter. butv still no success. been told i need maching Eps power steering to go with the Kit. but that is not possible from scrappy.
all the lights come on Dash as usuall even the door opens and shut with the remote.. the Engine does not turn or show any sign of life, everything works fine. I have even tried to put power direct to starter motor and the enine turns but does not fire.
question is is there other way so start temporary and see if the engine is sound. i understand that there
are some way to over come this immobiser problem.
Help and advice please i am no mechanic by profession
thanks in advance

My '05 starting displaying HIGH on the oil pressure sensor on startup, up to maybe a few minutes of driving. Then, as the engine radiator fluid heated up to normal, so did the oil pressure sensor return to normal. Today, I was driving around and noticed the oil pressure gauge was tacked at max. Uh-oh...
Months ago I added to the engine oil some of that magic/mystery oil (maybe 6-8 ounces) in the red clear bottle. It's also additive for the gas tank. I put in a quart of engine flush but didn't seem to make a bit of difference. I picked up new oil and filter, and am going to take my narrow end air gun to the small oil filter hole. Anything else I can do to find where it's plugged and unplug it? I'm not sure where the engine oil pressure sensor is located. On my old Ford engines, the sensors have been right next to the oil filter. Maybe pull that sensor off and air gun that hole too?
The oil filler cap did have that light cream residue on the underside - engine overheating symptom...

Hey folks - need some advice.
I have a 2013 Armada (58k miles) that is stock with the exception of Bilstein HD front shocks. The issue is, the car wanders all over the road... feels like I am driving in a high cross-wind that changes directions the entire time I'm driving. Further info:
- noticed this about 3 months ago and wrote it off as bad tires (Michelin Tour HPs that were down to 3/32 and were crap)
- just installed new Yokohama Geolanders and the problem is better, but still there
I haven't had the front end aligned, but the tires I just took off the truck were not worn in any way to indicate an alignment or caster/camber problem. They were worn evenly.
I live in WV and drive tight and windy roads with plenty of elevation change on a daily basis. Hell on tires and brakes... could there be other things that are simply worn out?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scot

My clock spring is broken. Spins all the way around with no resistance. I bought a new one off ebay which says it was compatible with the caveat of it being excluded from california emissions. Didn't really think that mattered... maybe it does? anyhow.
The new clock spring hub doesn't fit the steering wheel angle sensor. The hub is too big.
This is the exact one I bought:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/111484798050...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
My question is.. what's the right part number for the clock spring I need? I can't seem to find ONLY the clock spring.
I tried searching online for the numbers written on the part I took off.. nothing came up. Doesn't look like they are part numbers.

Hello everyone, first post :) My Armada is an '06 with 76,000 miles. I haven't had hardly any problems with it until the past couple of weeks. First sign of trouble was when my wife was out and said the SES light came on and it seemed to be idling rough. About 20 minutes later she was almost home and said it had almost no power and was barely making it up the hill to our house. I got home shortly after and checked the code using OBD Fusion app on my iPhone. Was still idling super rough and showing code P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire.
Car sat until the next day when I started it up again to see if there was anything else I could tell from it. When I started it, the code was gone and she was running perfectly. Hallelujah! I took it out for a quick drive and everything was great. I got back home and pulled it into the driveway and let it sit and idle for a bit. Within about two minutes the idle started to get a little rough and the SES light came back on with the same code.
A couple days later I decided to try to start it up one more time and look at some of the other info on the OBD fusion app. It doesn't have a whole lot of monitoring data to display, but it does show the O2 sensor readings so I decided to watch those in real time. It lists O2 sensor 1 and O2 sensor 2 on the app. I am assuming that this is referring to the downstream O2 sensors and not the Air/Fuel ratio sensors in the exhaust manifolds. I am also assuming that it means Bank 1 O2 sensor and Bank 2 sensor (does anyone have any experience with OBD Fusion that could confirm this?). Anyway, I started it up again and (again) she started right up and was running great. This time I went out and drove it for about 20 minutes with no issues at all, idle at stop lights and stop signs was still great. Got back home and pulled it in the garage and within about 5 minutes, guess what, started to idle rough and code came back. Idle would be rough and then sometimes briefly would go back to normal. Watching the O2 sensors readings showed something interesting. O2 sensor 2's voltage readings were pretty consistent. O2 sensor 1, however, when idling rough and with the P0300 code active would be bouncing between 0 volts and 1 volt. When the engine would return to normal idle/code gone, O2 sensor 1 would be reading around .3 volts. I don't know if this is an indication that the O2 sensor is going bad or if it is the O2 sensor's reaction to whatever the actual issue is.
I know that was alot of information, but wanted to give as much as possible so maybe someone might have had a similar situation to share. All help is greatly appreciated.

I'm really disappointed that my perfectly running, babied, 152k mile Armada is now dead. Over the past month, I noticed that sometimes the engine would rev when accelerating and then catch. But then everything was fine.
Finally it just stopped moving. Shop opened it up and said the transmission fluid was mixed with coolant and needs to be "replaced". Not sure if it's replaced or rebuilt? But It's $5,500, plus the radiator, and fuel pump went out while troubleshooting tranny. Total cost to get it running is $8,000
Given KBB is closer to $4k, I'm probably going to sell it if possible.
While it is 12+ yrs old and 152k miles, this shouldn't have happened. After googling this now, it appears that this has been a known issue.
Anyone know if they issue has been fixed by Nissan? I'm looking at a 2017 Armada Platinum , a $60k car better do a hell of a lot better than my 2004 did.
