I want to do the LED conversion of the exterior and interior lights. Does anyone know how to remove the puddle light (one on the sides mirrors)? Thanks!

Manifold cracked!
I just bought my armada se 2006 last year and I love it!
About a month ago my engine light turn on and I took it to a local shop here in town they checked the code and it seems to be a cracked header on the passenger side. I been reading the forum and it seems to be a very common issue with this SUV's.
I would like to go aftermarket on the headers and would like to get an input from the people on this forum that had this taken care off.

'12 Mada AKA The Black Mamba

max trac lift
I was flippin through truckin and saw a max Trac suspension ad so I jumped online to check them out. From what I have heard the titan and armada share the same front end. Does this mean that the titan 4in lift spindles fit the armadas?

What battery is a good battery for our SUV
I was wondering if any one else has this problem. This might sound a bit silly, but I can not sit in my armada when it is off and listen to the radio for more then a minute without it wanting to die. I look at the kind of battery I had and it was a AutoCraft from Advance Auto. I am thinking ethier I have a weak battery or the battery I have does not have enough power from the start. It looks like the battery is only 3-4 years old.

climate control zone problem
my climate control when on heat blows hottter on the passenger side than on the drivers side and i have them both set on 80. has anyone had this problem and is there a fix for it.

Nitto Crosstek 2010 Platinum
I am in the market for new rubber for my wife's 2010 Platinum...stock 275/60/20
I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 4runner and really like them, but want a more road type tire for the Mada. I did notice a MPG drop on the 4runner and that is my big concern with the Crossteks. We all know we don't need worse mileage with an Armada! ;)
Does anyone have any experience with Nitto Crossteks on an Armada?
And why are these hard to find?

2010 Armada, No Power/no downshift
All, New to this forum and not sure how to fully search so asking first! 2010 Nissan V8 Armada. Went from driving great with tons of power and acceleration to not accelerating barely at all (from lets say 40 MPH) and it will not downshift by itself when you stomp on the pedal. Goes through gears OK manually downshifting.
NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR CODES GIVEN OFF !
Any thoughts ?

3° timing advance?
Ok, everyone with a Superchips knows that there is a 3° timing advance setting on the 93 tune. Is there a big advantage or dangers from the 2° timing?

2006 Mada Tranny seems to have a mind of its own...HELP!
We are recently proud owners of a very clean 2006 Armada SE with 76,000 miles on it. Carfax was clean, no majoyr repairs or accidents, one previous owner and all regualr maintanence done at the local dealership.
Within the last week, the wife has been noticing a shifting problem. When coming to a stop, the truck seems to almost go into Neutral and then when you apply the gas to speed up it seems to "clunk" into gear. Another issue that we had just recently, I was passing a car on a two lane hwy and when I went to step on it, it seemed to jump back into neutral, I had no power, the truck didnt downshift and I had to get back over. SCARY!! I played with the truck and went through the gears manually and when I accelerated from 2nd to 3rd gear its as if its loosing power and struggling to reach the higher rpm and shift smoothly. Almost feels like there isnt enough fuel in the system, just bogging down real bad.
What on earth is going on??!!! Im thinking something electrical with the tranny possibly....but with only 76,000 miles that is ridiculous. I KNOW Nissans are made way better than that.
The only other possible thing is that when we bought the Mada it came with a Bully Dog tuner that was already installed. We had it unplugged, and maybe the ECU is going haywire. We plugged it back in, but the problem still seems to be there. Im afraid to romp on it anymore and thats just not good.
If any of you guys have ANY ideas...please share them with them. Im going to get it look at but need to know where to even start so the wallet doesnt get murdered.

EDIT: When it begins to shift funny and seem to loose power when downshifting, there are NO CEL lights that come on or service warnings...nothing.

Any good front struts besides bilstein?
Just what the title says...are there any front struts that are good besides bilstein? I'm just trying to see what options I have. I don't tow or do any off-roading so I just need something better than oem. I have 108k miles on the originals and they are blown. Thanks.

Hey everyone.....I just installed the catback on the wife's 05 mada and she says it sounds like she's driving a diesel truck. Not an issue for me but what can I do to make it quieter? Not sure if this matters but we have the tow package on our mada. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Strange noise while idling
I have a 2006 Nissan Armada 4WD which is about to hit 87,000 miles. Over the last 2 days there has been a weird noise that starts while I am idling for more than a minute, it doesn't happen all of the time but at least 50% of the time I idle. It sounds like a pump is trying to turn on, it makes a light grinding noise, no warning lights on the dashboard come on, the car does not shake or rumble, my brakes work fine and the issue goes away as soon as I hit the gas pedal. Has anyone encountered this issue before? I've checked all my fluids and everything seems fine. Any info is appreciated, thank you!
