Big $$ to replace control arms?

We've been getting a "clunk" from the front of our '06 Armada with movement of the front of the vehicle (e.g. quick acceleration from stop, stopping, going over bumps).
Took it to the shop yesterday and they told me the bushings on the front control arms were bad.
When they got a quote from their parts supplier it was $2000 per control arm.

Does this seem right?
As I look online, they definitely not that expensive.
Is there something else that I am missing that would be included in the price?
