Hey, guys. I think I have a problem with my rear end. I was coming back from watching AMA Motorcross in Wichita. I let my cousin drive back to the house since I had a couple large beers and we had kids piled in the truck. we were on the highway and the road curved with the road being wet. It felt like the rear end was about to slide out from behind us. It really freaked him out and me aswell. I drove back home in to Oklahoma and noticed the truck was handling terribly. Going down the highway, it seems like the front end is responding twice as quickly as the rear end. Its really hard to explain. I don't know how to explain it. While cruising down the highway, and steering one way or the other, the body rolls and is all over the road constantly.
I don't know why the Armada is handling like this all of the sudden. Its very dangerous. the air pressure is correct. I bought a new set of tires for the rear since they were pretty worn, but that didn't fix the problem. I had a wheel hub/bearing go out on my driver's side rear back in November on Thanksgiving. My VDC, ABS, Slip and 4WD light came on 400 miles before I noticed that the wheel bearing gave out and had similar handling characteristics. The front left and right wheel bearings have already been replaced. The only wheel hub that hasn't been replaced is the passenger's side rear. My VDC, ABS, Slip and 4WD lights aren't on, so I don't think it's a wheel hub again. Could it be that or maybe my shocks are shot?
The truck has 87k miles on it. Seems like the shocks going out would be a little too soon for them to go out. Your help is much appreciated
