I've read posts in the past regarding this issue. Some had bad pumps, some had holes or tears in the bags, some had fusible links blown. I've been searching all weekend for info regarding the electrical portions of the problem, but haven't found what i need yet. I've had my sneaky suspicions about the entire situation after browsing the forum. Now, after now realizing that i've never noticed hearing the pump since we bought it used 4 months ago, I finally got around to crawling under to have a look see. Yup, bags are flat. Since I never heard the pump, not even once, makes me think its not getting juice. I quickly looked through the owners manual but couldn't find anything regarding the rear shocks, suspension or Auto-level system.
Someone want to point me in the direction of where to start so I can self- diagnose this issue?
What/where was the fusible link to look for?
What about a standard fuse?
I've got some time tomorrow night where I can drag a 12V battery down there & give the pump a shock with juice to rule out the pump itself.
I don't tow anything right now, but I may be purchasing a travel trailer in the future so I'd like to keep the airbag system without having to retrofit with firestones bags, stiffer springs & Rancho gas shocks.
Thanks for the input!
