Hello All,
I have owned my 05 Mada since new. Had all the servicing done at the dealership during the warranty. I did a major servicing myself 4 years ago and was supposed to do it again at the end of summer last year but did not get around to it. It has less than 200K kilometers
About 3 months ago, a punkass tried to pass me on the right at a light and he did it because I bogged out and the tranny did not shift. This sucked big time because I had never been beaten at a redlight race.
I did not do what I should have done and had it checked. Now just yesterday the engine trouble and get transmission checked lights came on. With a good reason, the Mada tranny is malfunctioning and it feels like I am driving with the parking brake on. After it it gets going ( at 2k on the tach) it will drive better. I took it out and drove her gently to heat up the fluid, checked it and topped it up, it seemed a little low but I did not want to over fill it because it is very hard to tell the level. I get a messy dipstick reading. This did not solve the problem.
Has anyone experienced this type of behavior?
