Hello everyone :)
My wife called me this morning as she was driving to work to inform me that these lights came on. She has a 2004 Infiniti QX56. I've searched around the forums and google and have found a lot of possibilities of what could cause this.
So far i've topped off the brake fluid and replaced the battery and battery cable connectors as i read that those are 2 possibilities that could cause these lights to come on. The battery and cables i replaced because when i had it for an oil change they said the battery tested bad, but i didn't have them replace it at the time as it wasn't acting bad. when i looked at it today the connections were all corroded so i replaced those too.
After doing those two things the lights are still there. when starting the car only the VDC off, slip, and ABS lights are on and then after 30 seconds to a minute the 4WD light comes on.
One of my co-workers had an OBD2 reader for his android phone. we hooked it up and it wasn't seeing any fault codes, he tried sending it a reset but that didn't do anything either.
when driving the truck drives fine, no acceleration issues, no braking issues, no handling issues, everything feels normal other than the lights being on.
Can anyone think of anything else i can easily/cheaply check/replace myself before i make an appointment with the dealership for them to look at it? side note, the dealership did say that the left rear wheel bearing was loose when they checked things over when i had it in for an oil change, not sure if that would cause these lights or not, but that was about 2 months ago and they just came on today.
