Sputtering problem and no accelleration

Well last night the beast started to act strange. I runs great at idle and in park it revs like a it should and for the most part when just slowly trucking along. Then if you push the skinny pedal for power then the problem begins with sputtering and loss of power. I did some research and sounds like maybe the ECM relay or IPDM? Starts great and runs fine till you push the pedal. No lights on the dash either. What do you think? I also saw something about a recall for the ECM relay or IPDM...is that right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! OH and the beast has 160K on the clock.
