Diaz, who led Chrysler’s Ram truck division, now is working on Nissan’s new Titan full-size pickup.
Diaz said the Titan will debut in January at the North American International Auto Show — and go on sale in late 2015. With a Cummins engine and bolder styling it should stand out, Diaz said.
“It’s a mean-looking truck,” he said.
Unlike Ford’s upcoming new 2015 F-150 pickup, the Titan will not have an aluminum body, but Diaz said he will monitor consumer acceptance of Ford’s truck.
