My engine was a grimy mess, so I used a lot of degreaser to clean it. Looks awesome now, BUT....the degreaser has removed some needed lubricant in the pulley bearings, etc. When starting, it takes a bit more effort to turn over (you can hear the starter momentarily slowing down until it overcomes the inertia and fires the engine up), so I will need to re-grease the pulleys and put more belt dressing on the belt.
Reaching the pulleys is a pain since there is so little clearance between the fan and the front of the engine. A long lithium straw would be nice to direct the spray on the pulleys (*NOT* the belt!), but I don't know such a beast. :)
Any recommendations for directing the spray exactly where it's needed without having to remove the fan?
