There is no question that the best solution for tow mirrors is to use the Nissan OEM Big Tow Mirrors. However, that is not an option for me, as I need to fold the mirrors in order to get the truck in the garage, and the Big Tow Mirrors are not power folding (my wife refuses to get out of the truck every time she goes into or out of the garage to fold or unfold the passenger side mirror). I've tried several clip-on mirrors, but have returned them all, because either they didn't fit with our mirror design, or if they did, they vibrated so bad that they were useless. However, I think I've found a version of the clip-on mirrors that's going to work pretty good. They are from K-Source, model number 3891, available on Amazon for $22 each mirror. I bought a pair and over the weekend installed them and took them for a short test drive. They took a while to get fully adjusted, but once that was done, they go on and off in less than five minutes for both sides. They do jiggle around a bit, but they were certainly useable. I plan to use them on my next trip with the trailer (currently not scheduled until late June :(, and I'll report back. Meanwhile, if somebody is looking for clip-on mirrors rather than using the OEM tow mirrors, here is a solution that is worth trying.
I've attached some pictures from my phone of the mirrors installed on the car, as well as a picture of the packaging.
