Ctrankshaft position sensor ecu and camshaft nightmare right here. SOS
About 2 yrs ago i had the engine in my 07 armada re-built. It has driven terrible since I had just parked it for almost a year and bought and drove something else because i was tired of being dicked around by mechanic after mechanic and not being able to figure it out myself. Recently i decided its time to give it another good try. So what it is doing is, not starting, backfiring when it finally does start, the VDC, SLIP, and CHECK ENGINE light remain on, it idol's terribly, loses power and dies while driving (up hill is the worst) and if i do not baby it when i accelerate it dies. So believe me, I have done my homework trying to diagnose this issue but apparently not enough. I am getting a code indicating that the crankshaft sensor is the problem however i have replaced it twice now with no positive outcome. Everything else these forums have hinted at for me to check seem to be working properly. WTH could it be? SOS. Any help is appreciated and thank you.
