My 08 has been having some electrical issues for a few months now. There has been a few times where the battery will be stone dead over night for no reason. Boost it and it starts fine and all is good. It's happened a few times now. We have been in a real cold snap so been plugging the truck in nightly. A couple times now when I have gone to start it, it turns over fine, fires right away, runs for 1 second and shuts off. turn the key off. try it again, it fires right away, run for 1 second and shuts off. You can repeat this till the battery dies or if you are boosting it, you could probably do this sequence forever. I had it towed to the shop and they said the gas line was frozen. Once it thawed out it was fine. Now it has happened 2 days later. Same tank of gas that already has gas line antifreeze in it. Turn the key, fires right away, runs 1 second, dies. I'm not so sure this is a frozen gas line issue. It sounds like an immobilizer issue or something like that. Anyone else ever have a similar thing happen. last time it happened, the factory alarm went off when I opened the door, yet the door was locked with the remote for the remote starter.
