Had my mechanic tell me on Friday that I need front pads and rotors @ 38000 miles. Said inside pads are totally destroyed and not making contact with the rotor. The rotor is well pitted and rusted in the area that the pad would usually make contact. What I find interesting is that the dealer never found that @ 30000 miles, although, it's been a year since I've been back to the dealership. Outside pads are still good. Replacing the rotors and pads this week. Any ideas on what would cause this situation?:mad:
