Hey guys, I am selling a pair of almost new, Cooper Discoverer STT TEK3 M/T's. They are 33" Tires in 325/60/18's. I bought them a couple months ago and I have been driving my other truck 75% of the time, so they only have 1100 miles on them. I'm ramping up to selling my Armada SE 4x4 Fully Loaded with Leather, Sunroof, Towing package, aftermarket MA Audio Speakers, JL Audio Cleansweep to run an amplifier from the stock cd player and a nice new Planet Audio amplifier, Prodigy P2 Auto-Adjust Electronic Brake Controller for up to 3 axles, etc..., so I won't need these, unless someone doesn't want the truck to be brought back to stock (Remove the Bilstein 5100 Front Adjustable Coilovers with factory Coilovers, 2" Rear Spacer, swap out the aftermarket rims with the factory rims, buy new tires of the same size the Armada came with and mount the Factory Side Steps that are in my garage.) Message me or post if you are interested in my Armada or the rims and/or the slightly used tires.
The tires are slightly used as I have only put 1100 miles on the tires, because I haven't driven the Armada lately since I am in the middle of replacing the new Tie Rod Ends, Stabilizer Bar End Links and the two Lower Control Arms (Cheaper just to replace the LCA than to have a shop replace the lower ball joints believe it or not.) They aren't shot, but are showing signs that they will be going out soon, so I am replacing them before they NEED to be replaced. I'm one of those preventative maintenance guys, plus with the fact that I don't want them to wear out my front Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's. The Cooper Discoverer STT TEK3 M/T's are mounted on the rear so of the ball joints, stabilizer bar end links and the tie rod end links were shot, the new Cooper M/T's wouldn't be wear out since they are on the rear, only the front tires would see tire wear.
The tires are 10 Ply Tires so they have an E Load Rating, so you will have no issues with towing or hauling anything, nor will you have to adjust your tire pressure to accommodate while towing as these tires will exceed the Titan and Armada's towing capacity, let alone any vehicle for that matter including 3/4 ton or 1 ton Diesel pickups.
The tires are a bit pricey, but WELL WORTH IT. I've ran Goodyear Mud Terrains, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's, ProComp M/T's, Toyo Open Country M/T's, Kuhmo Road Venture KL78 M/T's, Kuhmo KL71 All Terrains, Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrains and another set that I can't think off the top of my head. These were my favorite. I have taken this truck off-roading (I had Nitto Terra Grappler A/T's on the front because I was saving up money to buy a 2nd pair for the fronts and were (and definitely are now) bald. I never got stuck in them, even with bald front tires, even in 3 feet of deep mud. I pulled 6 vehicles out of the ditch when we had a bad 4 day rain storm the day I got the tires mounted; 2 GM 2500', 3 half ton pickups and one SUV. I will be using the money from this sale towards buying me a set of these exact tires for my other truck. If you are wondering why I wouldn't just put these on the new truck, well, the other truck's rims aren't 18's.
They are $393 from Discount Tire, but I'll admit, I got $50 off per tire, so I paid $343 each plus $75 for the Road Hazard which is transferable. So I Paid over $686 + $150 for the Road Hazard Warranty and 6.5% in Tax with free mounting and balancing, so I ended up paying $861 + $55.97 in Taxes for a Total of $916.97 for the pair of the tires with the Road Hazard from Discount Tire. Selling for $550 + Shipping or willing to meet up. I prefer a local deal. I travel to Dallas once a month, so that is an option. I can also meet up on Wichita as I have a cousin that lives there. That's $366.97 ($183.49 per tire) off for tires that my Tripometer shows 1100 miles on the tires. I haven't reset the B Tripometer since I bought the tires, just the A Tripometer.
I will also entertain any offers in selling the ATX Punisher Black Chrome 18x9 Rims. You will need a 9-10" width rim. The factory rims, which are 8.5" wide are not wide enough to fit these, due to them being a 10 Ply tire with 4 Ply's on the sidewall (I believe it's a 4 Ply Sidewall) so they don't have much give on the sidewall. The other tires I had in this 325 width size would fit the factory 18's, such as my Kuhmo Road Venture KL71 All Terrain Tires.
FYI: I'm setting the price this low so I don't have to up the price to have room for negotiations to end up at the $550. I would rather just cut to the chase and offer them at this price.
Armor-Tek3® Carcass Construction
The heavy duty carcass of the Discoverer STT is constructed of two radial polyester body plies and one angled polyester body ply to provide 3 full plies of protection for superior resistance to impact breaks and bruising.
Scalloped Shoulder Lugs
The shoulder tread lugs of the Discoverer STT are scalloped so that one section always has a clear shot at fresh ground for superb traction in soft surface applications and additional gripping power in off-road applications.
Resistant Tread Compound Rim Flange Protector
The Discoverer STT has a specially developed tread compound that helps resist the cutting, tearing and chunking commonly developed in extended off-road applications. Strategically placed in the lower side wall area, a raised rim protector helps protect the wheel and tire from hazards in off-road driving conditions while enhancing the Discoverer STTs appearance.
Super Traction Tread
The new Discoverer STTs computer designed, non-directional tread employs a combination of features including deep buttress lugs, notched and scalloped shoulder lugs, and a unique center traction zone to create a bold, aggressive tire for tough off-road applications.
