I feel the problem started around 3 weeks ago. I drove to work fine and when i went to leave it would not start. I got a jump and all was well. The next day i went to the vehicle put the key in the ignition and all the dash lights came on as normal but when i went to start it all i got was a click and everything went dark. I popped the hood thinking my battery had died again but when i closed the door all the lights came back on. I jumped in it and it started no problem. A week passed with no issues, now it happend every day during the weekend. Everytime the car was turned off it would not start unless you played with the window, shifter, or hood but it always started. Today we had to get it jumped to move it and it stalled in 10ft. The engine does not want to stay on moving or parked it dies at random intervals.
Has anyone had this problem with their vehicle and if so what was the fix. I have had the battery and alt tested and they both came back fine. No error codes to report either. Im lost...
A friend of mine thought it might be a negative cable short, or disconect that is causing the stalls but other than that we don't know.
